Arvin Ranch Market Arvin Ranch Market is both a market and a restaurant, which is awesome when your grocery shopping and hungry. The food in the mini restaurant is very good, which is only Mexican food but it's really cheap. They also have a bakery and a tortilleria, where you can buy fresh made tortillas and fresh bread. It's a good place to get a little of everything.
Meh.. OK If weird smells and cow tongue are your thing than this place is for you.. the isles were dirty and the staff is rude, other than that they have a great little market where you can get tacos and stuff like that so its not terrible but its ok.
I will recommend this place to every shopper I have been shopping here for a long time already. The quality of their service is really nice. I will recommend this place to every shopper.
Great place for produce and fresh meats Vallarta is a great place to shop for produce and fruit. Their pricing is much cheaper than our neighborhood grocery stores. And if you scoot your way to the back of the store to the fresh butcher area, ask the butcher to give you 1 1/2 lbs. of marinated boneless chicken thighs. Grill those babies and get ready for the best tasting chicken you have ever grilled!!!!
Produce at a Fraction of the Price I'm so glad that Vallarta opened in Newhall. Their produce prices are a fraction of what you pay at the mainstream grocery stores. They appear to use less preservatives, so you have to inspect your fruit and vegetables a bit more carefully.
Great prices on everything Great selection of produce for a good price. Make sure to buy the carnitas. Very tasty. Large selection of meats and fish. The beans and rice are excellent also. It's a fantastic market. I highly recommend it.
Friendly Service This grocery store is unique in that it offers a more Latin inspired foods and drinks. The service is amazing. Most store offer fresh tortillas which are made on the premises. The prices are cheaper than most grocery stores. My favorite is buying the chocolate covered strawberries, which are amazingly exquisite and cheap. They sell 3 chocolate covered strawberries for ONLY A DOLLAR! This is way better than those over priced chocolateirs.
Skip the groceries Cooked food here is good and they cater for events. Comparing to other ethnic supermarkets, their fruits are overpriced sometimes and the meat is too. I wouldn't do my entire grocery shopping here but would stop by to pick-up a few things.
Fresh meat, fresh produce, and fresh baked goods This location is one of the biggest locations in the San Fernando Valley. They have an awesome deli and restaurant at this store. They also make the best marinated carne asada (ranchera) in town. Just order is pre-marinated and bring it home to the grill. Don't forget to have your Corona's ready for thos tacos al carbon!! Great place for cheap produce, fresh meat, and an authentice bite to eat!! Enjoy!
