Diamond Dave saved the day! We were late to our 10.30am half day lessons due to logistical issues. The team rallied together and David stepped up to provide lessons 12pm - 4pm. He was especially caring, gentle, and intuitive with my wife’s needs. He provided an excellent service and my wife had an amazing time learning to ski in Vail for her birthday! Thank you Vail Ski School & Diamond Dave!
My daughter purchased new equipment from the school. She left her new goggles on her helmet when she returned her helmet by accident. Within an hour we went back to the school. And of course they were no longer there. Typical of the people working their. My daughters mistake but telling of the employees at Vail Resorts.
They will charge you twelve hundred dollars a day for group lessons (not even private) and then they will lose your child on the mountain Just watch a YouTube video and don’t waste your time or money
This is the second year our kids have done Vail ski school and they can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend the full day ski school for kids and appreciate how attentive, patient, and highly skilled the instructors are. A special shoutout out instructor Brendan Kerr- he went above and beyond and my son can’t wait to come back and ski with him year after year. The helpful progress reports to parents end of day and the fun and energy he brought to each and every full day of skiing made this a huge success. He was amazing!
Our son was in Vail ski school this weekend March 1, 2025. He’s 8 years old. He was in a level 4 class. There were 4 kids in his class. So, not many. While on the mountain, pretty high and away from the main lodge, the ski instructor Payton … lost our son. He was alone and crying. A kind stranger found him and brought him down the mountain. He was lost for 30 mins. The instructor never called my wife or I. And when I picked my son up at 3:30 Payton never told me she lost him. Nor how bad it was.
