I wasn't going to say anything, but I have met the sweetest, better caring staff at our different utmb pediatric locations. This location is not it. The front desk woman on the left side of the office was so rude and apathetic. I called in to say I was running a little late due to an emergency. I cam not even 15 mins late to my 1 o'clock appointment on 8/30 with my 7 month old because she had been sick for over 2 weeks. Cannot get a doctor.instead I have a primary nurse.
The service at UTMB’s front desk, specifically from Ms. Salazar, is very disappointing. She is very rude when dealing with patients and, even worse, when non-English speakers come in, instead of finding help or someone to assist them, she just stares at them disrespectfully. This is not only unprofessional but also insensitive to those in need of support. The customer service at this place definitely needs improvement.
Just left it is 4:30. Our appointment was at 3:30 and got there before 2pm. Got checked in at 2:00. Nurse took is back to the room. We got there and the room was not clean. She had to clean it real quick. We waited in the room. I understand we were there early. But the nurse came in there several times. We had our door open and staff walked by.
