I’m retired, and was diagnosed with a terminal illness. I had to deal with URS regarding death benefits. I noticed a lot of one star ratings for URS. This caused me concern about how my family might be treated. My case is being handled by Tiffany, in the death benefits department. She was very nice and was amazing to deal with. If the Retirement Benefits Department continues to give out tax filing advice to its members, please thoroughly train the employees in taxation. There's been a pattern lately of URS members reporting that they were given tax advice by the employees at URS. The tax advice that these URS members are reporting do not match with current tax filing laws.

I have requested money from my 401k on different occasions. This can take up to 10 business days to receive this in my account. Most of the time I receive it before the 10 days. I have found that if Kory Shino gets my email to process it will more than likely take the full 10 days. Its only this one individual. He has responded with how he thinks I should withdraw MY MONEY on a few emails. I feel this is not his place. Kory just needs to process the withdrawal without comment. Not his business and not HIS MONEY.

I have only had to reach out to the URS a couple of times. On both occasions they were very responsive, knowledgeable, and efficient at getting my request processed. Thank you for providing such great customer service!
