This place is so cool. My wife and I love to check out gear shops when we travel and this was one of the coolest. Solid selection of clothing, cooking, hats and beanies, and tons of camping items. Decent canyonering section too. Cool little coffee shop as well. If you are in town stop by!
My daughter forgot her hiking hat and Utah Canyon Outdoors had a great selection and very fair prices. They also had some quality long spoons for our backpacking meals. The staff was friendly and helpful. This place is a real gem!
Outstanding coffee alongside exceptional assortment of outdoor gear.
Super nice people who gave us great advice on navigating the area in the offseason (December). We got a great smoothie drink that filled us up until we reached Richfield where we could find a place that's open to have a full meal. Really good prices on outdoor stuff too. I highly recommend stopping here just to talk and have a quick coffee/drink.
Really great place! The coffee was super good and they had tons of guide books If needed. We had a bad taste in our mouth from a rude gal at the place across the street and were excited with how friendly this place was. This will be our new go to spot on escalante!
