Awesome place to visit and learn about the American "greenbacks." Cameras are not allowed during the tour, so the memories are all that remain after the tour, and a few handouts. The place is fascinating, though, and worth the time.
National Debt. $36T Americans : Print more money!
It was interesting to find out how money was printed and it was free. It was honestly kind of boring when you do the tour though, because you only see machines and people. It's not super interesting. They do have a small museum that takes about an hour to go through.
I've been here a couple of times before. The gift shop is a little bare compared to when I came sometime before 2020. Still, it's a great place to visit and learn about how notes are made.
It's free and educational. Great for school trips.
