My mother recently contacted this office seeking assistance with an SBA disaster loan matter and was treated in a manner that was both unprofessional and unacceptable. During her call, the representative was dismissive, abruptly ended the conversation, and failed to provide meaningful assistance. I have been trying for almost two months to get ahold of someone to help. I have waited on hold over and over only to be disconnected. Once I get a person I am transferred to another person who then transfers me again often to a non existent phone number. Is this a joke??? I feel so helpless. What I am trying to get is a letter showing I paid off an old loan. Why is this so difficult?????

Terrible service. They said their funding was cut and that’s why the service was slow when I called them on it. But I said no SBA service was bad even when they had a bunch of funding before and during Covid. That’s why I vote for less government and so we can keep more of our tax money and let the market compete. Literally said we don’t have automated email responses for associates being out the office because of budget cuts and low resources when it’s free to set up a auto response to emails when your out of the office.
