very odd, their location in pine plains turns out to be just a storage facility when i went there during normal working hours, there was no one in the office. when I called i was told this, and that their regular retail location was elsewhere. this is problematic if you look it up on line and show up in the pine plains location expecting to buy lumber
I've never had such a bad experience somewhere that I needed to go online and leave a review. I went out of my way to leave that one star and that is ONLY because 0 stars were not a option. unless you enjoy calling a company for weeks because they charged you for more expensive items then you ordered and love dealing with unnecessary drama, stay away. Charged me for the most expensive 20ft trex units they have when I purposely ordered the least, and in 12s. No one even cared to look into it until I had to travel to their loc... read more
A great stop. Abundant supplies of raw cut lumber.
Seemed open to trying some new technology, and potentially making their procurement process more efficient. Not really somewhere to visit for customers... This is a sawmill, not a retail store.
