Extremely unhelpful. Person at the front desk seemed emotionless and lacking empathy. Mentioned how I couldn't make an appointment because their online phone service is garbage and she proceeded to tell me that was the only way they would help me. Just count your loss and dont even bother with this unhelpful bunch
Filed my taxes at the end of January. Didn't hear back for 3 months. Went in to talk with the taxpayer assistance center and the women straight up told me they dont offer assistance. Went back 3 months later and they finally told me that I needed to file another document….. now they are saying that I have to wait another 2 months.
Either no answer or "Your refund is delayed," then hung up. It's been 5 months
Impossible to navigate or to make an appointment.
I have been waiting on my refund since 2/2/25 which was filed electronically. I have heard nothing from the IRS and their automated system is ridiculously unhelpful. I waited 33 mins on the line and got hung up on while waiting. when I immediately called back I received a ""no reps available" response. Well some one hung up on me so there was at least one rep available. Incredibly frustrating. UGH!
