The in-person service was great. I had a horrible experience with the phone customer service and was caught in a loop where I could not make an appointment because I had to submit a certain form first and there is no walk-ins, and I couldn't submit the correct form, because I was misinformed about which form to submit and they would keep transferring me after an hour wait time, only to wait another hour and saying something incoherent.... I had a very disappointing experience at this IRS office. I scheduled an appointment for 3:00 PM and traveled from Florida specifically because this was the closest available location to resolve an urgent corporate tax matter. I arrived on time, checked in at 3:00 PM, and was not assigned to an agent until 3:50 PM, despite the office closing at 4:30 PM. Was super easy yesterday to just walk up without an appt—found a very helpful and knowledgeable agent. Entrance a bit hard to find… it’s around the corner opposite dog park.
