They only have a recorded message. Waited 2 hours and no one would answer. If our Gov can’t even run their own IRS office then they all need to be fired and replaced.
Impossible to get to a live person.
Was there for 45 minutes, had someone talking on the phone the whole time, then told we could not be seen because of Short staff.
I expected complete incompetence as is normal with the IRS. But what I didn’t expect was the horrendous treatment I received. I had an extremely time sensitive need and was instructed by IRS phone agent to go to this office as a walk in and inform them I live in a federally declared disaster zone and have a time sensitive need. I waited for over 4 hours while they DELIBERATELY ignored me. It was clear they hoped if they made me wait long enough, maybe I’d leave.
