My local IRS did not have any available appointments until August, so it was suggested I schedule at an office 2 hours away. It was also suggested by IRS worker that I go here and bring a photo copy of my amended taxes and transcript to get stamped to verify documents have been received. I am in a time crunch and in the process of purchasing a home. I was turned away immediately and not given the time of day by receptionist. She was not accommodating, understanding or helpful. This place needs shut down!!! My daughter just drove 2 hours after being advise by the IRS to show up there to have a document stamped and the woman was awful!!!! Sent my daughter out bawling her eyeballs out! She needed a document stamped and she said it was illegal for her to do so after the actual IRS advised her to go there and do it!!!!
Still on hold. It is 4:09pm right now 6/10/2026. Been on hold for 2 hours and 4 minutes. No one is picking up. I hear you click and put me back on hold. Can you answer ever ????
The phone service is NOT helpful at all and when I request a live operator, the system keeps sending me into loops without answering any questions or resolving any issues. Do better IRS. You obviously have the funds.
