I called U S Bank in Soledad, CA, to advise them that I wanted to pick up a cashiers check for a CD that had come due. They said OK I called them the next day to tell them that I was coming in. U S Bank told me I couldn't pick up the check because they had mailed it. This caused a hardship because the CD proceeds were to be applied to a Muni Bond in 2 days. Don’t really recommend banking here when you need cash the most the atm’s outside both are always down.
The bank hours don’t make sense. They close at 5:00pm when we are getting out of work and they’re closed on Saturday. It was nice when the bank used to close at 6:00 pm and open on Saturday until noon.
There was a big line, and there were 3 cashiers.
