Honestly the best experience and service you can receive at any bank - great atmosphere and always felt welcome, Amit & team might’ve been hand selected for this branch.
I made an appointment to talk with a banker about the possibility of obtaining a safe deposit box at the Berkeley location. A half hour after the appointment time, I still had not received a call. I called the National customer service for US Bank and they assured me I would receive a call during that day. Never did. I have since been in contact with another bank which was very helpful and will go there instead.
I applied for a personal loan after receiving what was presented as a “pre-selected” offer. Based on that, I expected a straightforward process. Instead, I was asked to provide an excessive amount of documentation, including multiple pay stubs, W-2s, and even tax returns from prior years. This level of scrutiny is unreasonable for a relatively small, high-interest personal loan. The managers are super helpful and take a genuine interest in providing very personalized service. The experience has been far superior to what I experienced at my previous bank for many years. I am very glad I moved to USB and always get friendly and knowledgeable help whenever needed.
