Been banking with US Bank for 20 years and went to deposit my regular paycheck which I do every two weeks and was told they had to hold it for 7 days because they didn't like the looks of it. When asked why their response was they didn't know they just didn't like the looks of it. I then took it to Idaho Central which is where its drawn from and they said there was absolutely nothing wrong with the check and there no reason they should have had to hold it. I would give a zero if it were possible. US Bank is now routinely putting holds on business checks and even certified cashier's checks coming from other banks. More fees, poor customer service, exercising more control over their customers. Appalling!
