This bank quickly proved that it was a terrible idea to do business with. We were advised to leave my mother-inlaws account open after she passed so we could finish up her final business with it. The account was suddenly closed with no notice. And when asked the accountants in Van Wert back peddled and lied about it. Already making a bad situation worse. Terrible customer service. They never answer the phones. 0/5 stars.
Don’t ever try calling after 4 because they’re just too lazy to answer the phone and would rather sit around and wait to leave for the day. Only time there’s urgency is when they’re taking your money from you or loaning it to you. Terrible customer service. Called 6 times in a row just to be hung up on twice and 4 times no one answered. Absolutely pathetic…
Robot at start of call sucks absolute balls. You can’t get with an operator no matter what.
The service is normally great, but today was incredibly frustrating. I stood there for about ten minutes while I waited to talk to someone, and not a single employee acknowledged my presence. They were a little busier than I'm used to seeing, so I understand that I couldn't be helped right away, but I didn't get so much as a "I'll be with you in a moment" the whole time I stood there. I ended up just walking out.
