After years of excellent service (thinking back, I've had US Bank since 1972) thing have gone VERY bad since I moved out of state./ Some third party company has refused to pay bills I submitted - I am being charged $2 for a counter-check and while I have overdraft protection, they are telling me checks are being returned. But worst it is absolutely impossible to speak to a live human - who speaks even passale English, and even worse is at the branch. If I could give it 0 stars I would. My wife went in to close a small savings we have, instead they just closed ALL OUR ACCOUNTS. Bills bounced, I'm getting fees left and right. Do they care? Nope. "Oh, sorry. Here is your money." The banker said. No resolution, no empathy for their screw up. Good riddance. U.S. Bank has been going down hill the last couple years. They just helped me leave.
My Australian in-laws are in country touring the West Coast with my husband and me. My mother in-law put her Aussie debit card in the ATM to pull money out and the machine shredded her card. She went to the bank and the manager was very rude stating there was nothing they could do, the ATM is a third party company, and wouldn’t provide any contact information. Don’t do business here.
