Went to go deposit a check, I specifically advised Leslie not to make any marks or tear off the bottom portion of the check if the funds weren’t going to be available the next business day. Long story short she STAMPED the check only to realize the funds weren’t going to be available the next business day at least not all of it. The teller was super nice and helpful, me being from out of town and kind of an urgent situation she was understanding. I was told 2-4 hours and my deposit would clear. After I had deposited , pulled cash off the check that was deposited , apparently the branch manager put almost a 2 weeks hold on my deposit . (I had sold my car due to an emergency situation, at the dealer ship on the same block as the bank). I had planned this out accordingly .
