Coins are only for business customers, apparently. The teller was “willing to make an exception”, but she made a big deal about how I’m not supposed to ask for quarters because I’m not a business owner. And she said that because (she assumed) I didn’t have an account with them and I’m not a business owner, it was a “double whammy” and I shouldn’t have come in to ask for quarters. Their customer service is so good, specially there are two women they are so respectful.
No staggered lunch hours in 2024! People with jobs can only come to your bank over the noon hour bc you open late and close early. And yet you only have 1 teller on duty from 12 to 1. Baffling. Hopefully when you go out of business they'll put a good restaurant in instead.
They don't follow their own written agreement with the Washington State Treasury and refuse to cash checks issued by them. Update: They have blamed the Washington Treasury's poor word choice and don't know why they would print that none members can cash state issued checks. But if I would like to open an account... 😒
I love this bank. Fantastic service. Trustworthy. Patient.
