This branch provided a terrible experience. I visited because I was dealing with fraud on my account, and they assured me the issue was resolved and that everything should be fine. Trusting their word, I continued having my direct deposit go into the account, which held all the money I needed to pay bills and take care of my two children. Elderly individuals and limited experience clients should come with chaperones with financial experience. The people at this branch will try to hustle you into credit cards, especially if you don’t understand how they work. A lot of US Bank branches in downtown Oakland are closed on the weekends so this branch uses it as an opportunity to sell things to clients who do not usually do their banking there. Be careful!
Terrible customer service after Josh left. New manager, Jay lacks professionalism and management skills. Bindra needs to revisit teller school. She lacks the skills needed to perform her job. Too busy trying to push credit card offers than basic banking skills. For the area, go to First Republic Bank. They are better equipped to service your banking needneeds. branches are closing
