This is the second time I've experienced mistreatment from employees at UBS Bank's Auckland Downtown branch. They take advantage of people who don't speak English well and manipulate them. I'm one of the customers who continues to experience this mistreatment. I will close my account, but only after I get my rights restored and receive justice for the lack of respect and consideration I've received as a customer. Use any branch but this one. Long lines. Incompetent bankers. Had a banker call me saying my debit card was ready. I go to the bank and nobody could find it. I’ll find another branch to frequent.
This branch provided a terrible experience. I visited because I was dealing with fraud on my account, and they assured me the issue was resolved and that everything should be fine. Trusting their word, I continued having my direct deposit go into the account, which held all the money I needed to pay bills and take care of my two children.
