A teller gave our money to somebody with the same name with a completely different account number (I guess this bank looks up accounts by names and not account numbers ) and made us file a police report, including my time , money , etc. spent, had to open a new account, put holds on other information thinking it was somebody stealing money from us and fraud. I really do enjoy this institution's credit card products. They have great rewards programs. However, I was recently overcharged at a restaurant. The gratuity was entered as $150 instead of $15. An honest mistake I hope, but I had trouble contacting the restaurant to get this corrected so I contacted US Bank to open a dispute.
