Where do I start? I had a appointment with a banker to open a new business checking account and the banker would not open an account until I answered the most ridiculous personal questions regarding my business. He wanted to know how much I make per transaction, where my money comes from, how long I have been doing this for, he even made a comment about involving his compliance department. we opened our business account, but had to change its name and get an entirely new EIN because its easier to do it than changing EIN, after inquiring banker advised that it will be easier to open an entirely new business account which me and my partner agreed. Banker took all our documents, scanned it and even mentioned to my partner that it will be sent to him by email.
