My wife recently was scammed online. When the bank branch manager was contacted he immediately started to close two checking accounts that she was on. She is in Assisted Living and needs a wheelchair for mobility. One account was hers which she had used to send money to the fraudster. The other account was our joint account where all our retirement checks were direct deposited and I paid all our monthly bills.
