My wife recently was scammed online. When the bank branch manager was contacted he immediately started to close two checking accounts that she was on. She is in Assisted Living and needs a wheelchair for mobility. One account was hers which she had used to send money to the fraudster. I will be leaving us bank specifically because of this location. I went in to take money out and was told I was pre approved for a platinum card. While I understand my credits on me I was informed that it wouldn't be ran. I got a email saying a hard check was ran and I was denied.
