I would like to share what a great experience I have had dealing with the Urban Barn in St Catharines The caring and prompt service is something you rarely find these days Trudy was our sales person and she even called me after our purchase to let us know our dining table went on sale and would pass along the savings which was $500.00 No small amount. Please ask for Trudy when you visit.
We ordered 6 leather Montana dining chairs in Dec.2024. Two arrived with defects. The store manager was haughty and told us she would “waive the restocking fee” when there is NO restocking fee for merchandise that is defective. 2 replacement chairs were shipped, they had defects. 2 more replacement chairs were shipped and they had defects. Suzanne showed excellent customer service and kindness during our experience at Urban Barn. She was quick to offer her sincere apologies and assistance for a mishap during home delivery.
Did not feel welcomed at all. Ageism was very apparent when I interacted with staff. I was ignored by staff and felt I was not taken seriously when inquiring about purchasing pricier items due to my age. I won't be returning.
