My experience has been very positive, and I would recommend Dr Murphy to a friend or family. I believe Dr Murphy has taken the time to listen to my goals to be pain free. The therapy prescribed has been helpful to reach that goal. The office has also made every attempt to adjust appointments when needed.

I'm not someone who leaves reviews but working with Ellen over the last year on my lower back pain seriously gave me my life back. When I came to Upward, I couldn't sit at all without pain. I needed to go to PT very near my house because even driving myself more than a couple minutes had me wincing. Ellen gave me a thorough assessment so I could get individualized care, not cookie cutter lower back pain treatment. Dr. Ellen has been fundamental attenuating/resolving many issues I have developed over time related to my profession and hobbies. I feel much better playing drums and hockey thanks to her! Her approach to determining the best treatment and routines is phenomenal!
Dr. Ellen is reliable, kind and thoughtful in her approach to care. She never makes you feel like you're not trying hard enough and scales everything to what you can do that day. Her ability to adapt to new surprise issues that I bring up speaks to her knowledge as she is always able to help and thoroughly explain her approach and why we are doing an exercise or stretch. Highly recommend!
