The therapists are wonderful! The facility is awesome! Scheduling- a true nightmare! I’ve sat on the phone forever, have been hung up on, stood in line for 20 minutes for face-to-face. There needs to be a larger staff, like 5 people, in a larger booth.
Love our therapists. Their calling/scheduling is a NIGHTMARE! I was here yesterday trying to make an appointment with my son’s PT since he missed his previous session due to illness. They told me there’s an opening for 9am today. They made the appointment. This morning I check the portal and there’s no appointment. I was trying to reach someone for 25 minutes to see what happened and turns out they accidentally made it for March! The therapists are wonderful, but just try calling about an appointment! You will only get a voicemail and they NEVER call back.
I live in very upstate New York. Massena to be exact. I’m not used to the level of care I witnessed at University Hospital. My older brother is currently a patient at the hospital and they are taking tremendous care of him. His Doctors and Nurses are top notch and you leave there with a clear understanding of what they are doing and ultimately trying to accomplish. It makes me feel better about him being in a hospital since visiting him there. I only wish all hospitals were as good as this one
