I met Andrew and Marielle after I had a surgery gone wrong. I was desperate for more intimate care for the complexities within my whole body, not just the symptoms. With their help, not only was I able to turn around a very scary decision, but I was also able to create new adventures at 38 years old with a strong child like spirit. I cannot say enough good things about Marielle, and everyone at Upright Acupuncture! I’ve never had such a thorough intake, felt such care and concern for the pain I’m experiencing and I’ve never experienced such depth of knowledge with different techniques and modalities! I felt immediate stress relief with acupuncture, a change in symptoms with the different techniques and know that we have the right plan for tackling my pesky chronic pain. I had my first acupuncture treatment at Upright Acupuncture and it was amazing. The space is peaceful, and I felt instantly at ease. My practitioner, Marielle, was kind, knowledgeable, and really took the time to listen to my needs and she explained to me how accupuncture works. I left feeling balanced, relaxed, and refreshed. I was diagnosed with vestibular problems. My balance was the worst it has ever been and my vision was not aligned. I saw four different doctors and even tried physical therapy. Nothing worked.
