I have never had any issues with paying my UMT taxes in the past 15 years. This year has been by far the worst experience I have ever had. I called the office left a voicemail and no return phone call.
Poor communication from both Mr. Bellew and UMT regarding address changes for payment of tax bills. I don’t want to hear about past practices. The current collector took office January 5, 2026 and is, therefore, the person responsible for clear communication regarding changes to tax payments.
