Wegmans I think of Wegmans as an oasis for foodies. My only wish is that they would stock more meats and poultry that are grown without the use of growth hormones, antibiotics. Then I would never go to Whole Foods.
grocery paradise Wegmans is a grocery paradise. This is one of my favorite places for gift certificates. There are things for everyone -- gourmet foods, regular groceries, take out, catering, an Oriental buffet, and a zillion foods to eat there in the lovely upstairs dining room or to take home. Store hours are generous (to 11 PM each night) and the location is right by I-295.
good for organics and natural foods and supplies I do a lot of my shopping here for organic food, organic produce and natural items. Their selection isn't as abundant as Whole Foods but I enjoy the atmosphere and their catering, floral, olive bar and take out is unparalleled!
Wegmans is superb several groceries purchased and was extremely satisfied with quality - take out chinese was delicious! definitely recommend selection of items is great
