Went to UpFront Guitars originally for a repair. After a honest assessment by the owner, Gordon, of estimated costs we decided to get a buy a consignment guitar. Gordon spent time explaining the different qualities of each type of guitar within our price point. What a wonderful store. They gave me a great deal on a G&L bass but when it showed up there was some finish damage that we think happened during shipping. Upfront paid for me to return it to them and then took it to a pro refinisher who made it look like new again before shipping it back to me. Upfront covered all the costs and kept in touch with me the whole time, even sending pictures of the refinished/repaired bass for shipping it back to me.
