I hired Jeff to help me with my back taxes. We had everything ready to go, but he hadn't accounted for tax on product for my small business, which accounted for a difference between a payment to the government or a return. Paid several thousand of dollars in for services, and no follow up, and then he went to work with another firm, and then went back to his own thing. I hired Jeff to do my taxes after he expressed confidence in his ability to help me with my unique and potentially complicated business situation. After signing and submitting my return, I became aware of what I believed to be a mistake, and so reached out to Jeff to discuss and, if necessary, fix the error. That was in mid-March.
