Honestly super frustrated with the service at UOB Ampang branch here. Went to open an account and it already took quite long. Then the next day they told me I missed a signature, so I had to come back again. When I went back, the staff who handled me wasn’t even there, and then suddenly I was told they opened the wrong account for me. So now I had to make multiple trips just to fix their mistake — reopen a new account and close the wrong one. Seriously, is your time important but customers’ time not important? I would like to commend Ms Wong for the excellent service provided during my bank account opening. She was very helpful and responsive, guiding me through every step of the process. Her close follow-up and proactive communication made everything smooth and stress-free. As I was in Singapore, she made the extra effort to call me numerous times and ensured that I received the update when my account was ready I am very very grateful that i was assisted by her.
