I had an unbelievably healing experience at UnU Center! Really nice place, I especially loved sitting by the river each morning and evening, admiring the wilderness across the Rio Grande (it makes you feel like you're at a national park or such!). What a diversity of wild life: birds, beavers, river otters... I also had a really nice hypnotherapy session with Sam. If you’re looking for a serene spot that’s close to Taos and some good hiking, this is it!

We stayed in beach hut. I found it odd that they up charge for a 2nd person. What was most troubling was staying in a place without any known smoke alarms or fire extinguishers in what appeared to be a very DIY build (despite the listing saying it had these). That's inexcusable to me, safety first.

I spent a week solo at UNU center in one of the shared apartments with my own room. The accommodation was comfortable, the small kitchen had everything you need to make meals with in the evening. The hosts, Sam and Meda, were so lovely and made me feel right at home. Also very communicative ahead of my arrival and during my stay. The grounds are so naturally beautiful. I spent my afternoons down by the river reading and swimming with mornings exploring the local areas. 25 mins to Taos in the car. Evenings taking my food outs... read more

I've attended retreats at UnU Center twice now, and I can't recommend it enough. The accommodations are comfortable, the owners are friendly, and the natural beauty of the place is beyond words. The grandmother willow tree, the fresh river... Both times I was there with large groups (20+ people), and the space was abundant. Some of us brought camping tents and enjoyed that too. Across the Rio Grande there is a seemingly endless wilderness to explore. At night, you can see the Milky Way in the sky. It's a magical place, one I... read more

I stayed with Cris and Sam via an Airbnb reservation for three nights in April. I chose this location as it was a good springboard for visiting Santa Fe and Bandelier/Los Alamos and their backyard is on the banks of the Rio Grande. As I was SUV camping through New Mexico and Arizona I did not need a large amount of space and so stayed in one of their smaller units. The unit was clean and comfortable and in the afternoons I took a book out to the back and enjoyed being outside watching a lazy river pass by. As with most place... read more
