Shattered foot, 12 hours in waiting room, Nothing for pain. The world hospital in America
I was flown in via transport to the trauma center at 6 am after being at another hospital overnight. I had to ask nurses six times before given IV fluids (I was NPO for twelve hours and had myself to advocate for getting some fluids). Halfway through the day after my CT I was told I had to wait in the lobby where I wasn’t monitored or given IV fluids or offered a comfortable place to sleep even though I had been up 36 hours (and I was still instructed to be NPO). Giving a patient an other persons medications (6 of them) is a HUGE error, malpractice and negligence! Giving a diabetic a sugar filled applesauce is negligence! I have lost all faith in, trust and confidence in this hospital!
The worst hospital care experience I've ever had! I was in the waiting room for 12hrs, watching elderly people waiting along side me and people that were just shrugged off and overlooked for care was absolutely heartbreaking. The inpatient nurses where horrible with zero compassion for the patients. When addressed about patients with care need, they just shrugged off the issue. Seriously need to go anywhere else but here Unprofessional all around. Pretty much a homeless shelter for the homeless. Place is too huge to try and navigate. Poor signings
