Price is expensive I will admit but they have a lot of great sales, and a great selection of high quality art supplies from my experience. Never had trouble getting any books from here. The staff is friendly and very helpful when speaking to and atmosphere of the store is great, my only complaint is it closes early and is difficult to get to after class.
Textbooks are constantly on backorder well into the semester. I waited weeks for a phone call to be returned and never heard back. When I finally spoke to someone on my fifth call, I was put on hold for 45 minutes and then sent to voicemail again. Terrible customer service.
It had what you needed and more fun items/etc. before it became apart of Barns and Noble and got even more expensive and more difficult to use their website. Its also ten times more expensive. Your best bet is to drive to the Half Price Bookstores in Lexington to get your textbooks (some cost below 15$ in good condition) and what you dont find there, then order on either the half price books website or amazon.
The shipping time for textbooks is utterly unacceptable, with textbooks taking upwards of 1.5 months to arrive. Never order your textbooks here.
This is the only place you can use your scholarship money so they charge about double the actual price of the books It should be illegal btw did I mention it’s privately owned? Basically bleeding money 😂
