😭I came to the UW School of Dentistry hoping to finally improve my teeth after a childhood injury caused me to lose my front teeth. I was excited and trusted the process, especially after being referred to specialists.!! Unfortunately, my experience left me very disappointed and emotionally stressed. I am very grateful for the excellent care I’ve received here and the (Shoreline) Hygiene Clinic at UW. All three of the providers I’ve seen had exceptional bedside manner and did wonderful work. Scheduling was easy. Honored to receive care here.
Not a great experience. My pre-doc dental student had a tough time removing the plaque from under the gum line. I've heard from others that it's especially hard plaque, and she was getting some negative feedback from her supervising professors as she tried to remove it. So I get it: more challenging than the average. But, as a dentist, she will encounter all sorts of patients... She was pleasant, warm - but increasingly difficult to pin down about appointments. She was on vacation, school was on break, she'd get back to me..... read more
