I applied to UMSL and, over several weeks, repeatedly tried to confirm my admissions status via phone and email. Despite numerous attempts I received no substantive response. When I escalated the situation, an admissions office employee called me but did not take responsibility — telling me ‘she’s human’ to excuse multiple missed communications. I graduated from UMSL with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in May of 2025. Overall, I would describe this university as average. I enjoyed my time in the CS program and generally had positive experiences with both peers and faculty. Academically, the CS program is rigorous (e.g., higher-level math courses such as calculus I & II, alongside core concepts like algorithms), so the provided education is high quality.
