I can say as a patient that the doctors there have saved my life. I would have died if I was not life flighted there and had a trake put in six hrs after I was born. I'm now turning 21 and vary happy that I'm here and can say thank you every time I go for my appointments to dr.smith and Dr.burton for what they have done to save my life

Wonderful hospital for children.
The best hospital ever
My 1 year old son spent 10 days in PICU a couple weeks ago for severe respiratory issues . He got the BEST care from some of the most wonderful people. We have only great things to say about the children's hospital...they create a joyful and hopeful environment for you to endure the most worst of circumstances. I am forever thankful that my son was transferred to this amazing facility. Hats off to the University of Iowa Children's Hospital PICU staff!

The staff is amazing. My daughter Emma was in over the weekend with complications from her TD1. Thank you for taking good care of her & making sure I had everything I needed too!
