My boyfriend couldn’t buy a pass because it said he was not enrolled, of which he most certainly is as they have sent him the tuition bill and everything, after we waited an hour in an online queue (which we waited online an hour early to be there when it went live only to get reshuffled in line with legitimately thousands of other people) only for it to say there were no passes available since he wasn’t enrolled. We even checked beforehand to verify that he was enrolled. They somehow continue to get worse each semester.
Called multiple times during business hours and nobody seemed to have the ability to simply pick up the phone to help me or answer any questions. Mind you each time I was on hold for well over 10 minutes.
We found a garage and our parking was validated for our college orientation, and it is a nice short walk, if necessary.
deleted my parking permit and wouldn't let me buy again because they sold out
As a former graduate of the University, I have not seen any improvements made to the IT system, when it comes to purchasing parking passes. The University builds new buildings, receives donations, has an in house IT team, however, they lack in upgrading the server and/or cloud services to accommodate a simple task of parking pass purchasing.
