The care the staff put into making my father in laws last days comfy is something I will never understate. We could tell that they truly connected with him and us, being heartbroken as well as professional when we needed it the most. I spent a week visiting him in his room and everyone I came across was so kind and empathetic towards me. The nurses in trauma were traumatizing , I had a broken back with 8 broken vertebrae and spinal cord severely damaged and the day of aftersurgery they were throwing me around to change my sheets in an extremely way my wife had to go complaint to the haed of unit and shes a nurse herself she definitely didn't want to do that ,shes 100% on there side usually but she saw the horrors from the minute stars dropped me to the month I spent in spinal cord unit ,it was hard to watch ..it made her want to quit nursing for a minute she... read more
If I can put 0 stars I would. Worst of the worst hospitals I have even been to. Since 2019 until from my parents to my self to my baby and husband have ever received any treatment from hospitals letting us wait for hours and end up leaving with no help. Today we waited 12 hours and the emergency waiting room was almost empty and they still tell 2 more hours that is without the waiting hours in actual rooms inside. I had a fantastic stay at this hospital in the 4A Neurosurgery department. Wonderful staff and surgeons. My favorite was Josiely!!! So kind,sweet,professional, knowledgeable and pretty 😍 love u so much!! God bless you always 🙏🌹🌹🌹
The U. of A. Hospital's Psychiatric Ward was a terrible place to be in. I honestly had one of the worst experiences of my life there. The psychiatrist in charge misdiagnosed me with epilepsy, which I did not have, and put me on anti-epileptic medication that made me feel physically ill. I had terrible anxiety problems there, but they would not even tell me that I could have 1 mg. of Ativan daily to control this problem. Finally, a nurse was honest with me and told me this fact.
