I attended this university during one of the hardest periods of my life, and my experience left me deeply disappointed both academically and personally. Housing conditions were awful, advising issues repeatedly jeopardized my academic progress, the dining hall food quality was horrible, and overall student support was nonexistent. Easy to work with teachers & admin staff. Teachers work with individual students to help get classes completed & understood. A great example to the other colleges in the system!!

I've been thinking a lot about UAS lately. I was here for 2 years in 2014-2016. I attended mostly to get some of my electives done before transferring to a larger school, and almost all of my credits did transfer. The campus is beautiful, there are some nice trails, it's near a harbor. The housing was really nice. I had a room to myself in a suite with one other bedroom but did not talk to my roommates much.
