Great Latin supermarket. I can always find the Peruvian ingredients I need, and I drive several towns over specifically to shop here. However, I’m disappointed by the cashiers’ approach to tips. They keep large cups labeled “Tip” at the register, yet they don’t acknowledge customers or even say hello. They also don’t offer to bag your groceries; instead, they stare at you as if waiting to see whether you’ll leave a tip. Providing helpful, welcoming service is part of the job. This place is hit or miss. I get out of work at 8 get down to the store by 8:30 even though they close at 9 on the building but according to google 8:45 and the door is locked already. The store isnt that big I can get in and out because I know where everything is. But it really sucks having to go to a completely different town when I live in Rahway.
Bought a Perdue whole chicken on a Friday afternoon went to cook it on Sunday and the chicken was BAD..SPOILED tried to return it and was told they have a 24 hour return policy....would not even allow me to get a new chicken or return my money. BEWARE OF EXPIRATION DATES !!!
