Our experience financing a car loan through Unitus Credit Union has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. This ”credit union” scams harder than any traditional bank. I have multiple instances where they have falsely charged me an overdraft fee- and then the overdraft fee didn’t even make my account negative! How is that even allowed?! I. The last 2 years this has happened 4 times, I have always had zero issue having them reverse the fee. Skyler and CJ are amazing! Best customer service I've ever had banking. I usually do most things online but I'm always happy to see them when I need to go in.
This is more for the overall company than the branch, but I have no where else to post this. Despite their best efforts, I am a member of this credit union. I purchased an electric vehicle and the dealership found that Unitus had the best rates for me. Great! Except after speaking with me they determined that because I was going to let my wife drive my car, it was a straw purchase and they would not lend me money.
