I was falling behind on bills and was facing foreclosure and repossession of my car. I turned to United one for a loan. It took them over a week to reach out to me in response to my application. They jumped through hoops to be able to approve me, but they didnt understand my financial situation enough to approve me. Their staff have no customer service skills and are disrespectful and mean to customers. When I was talking to a staff member they wouldn’t let me finish my sentences and kept cutting me off and interrupting me. I feel discriminated against and they made me feel like a worthless person this is NOT how a business should be run. You claim to be for your members and customers and yet you treat them like crap when they come to you, not how a business should be run. Absolutely love this bank! I recently (a year and a half ago) took out a mortgage through UnitedOne. The loan person I worked with was great! I called him often with questions about the process and he always got back to me timely and never made me feel bad about not knowing. He explained everything every time. I don't see myself ever switching banks!
My wife opened a car loan with UnitedOne Credit Union. After two months the loan payment went up an additional $100. I went to the bank to ask why, they told me since I am not on the loan they can't tell me only my wife(legally this is incorrect since we are married - shared property) So my wife emailed the loan officer. He said it's are car insurance. We have car insurance. My wife submitted tha paper work and they said ok. Next month still an extra amount, next month again.
