United Way of Denton County is wonderful! Jayme Dooley was our caseworker and I cannot even begin to tell you how caring and compassionate she is. Jayme is professional and is a fantastic communicator, keeping us updated throughout the entire application process. Her kindness will never be forgotten. Thank you, Jayme! God bless you!

God Bless Yall at United Way in Denton Tx. They really came through for my family when no one else did. They helped us get into our home in Denton. We went through a hardship and were struggling and United Way blessed us. Thank you so much to Jose at the front desk for going above and beyond for us so that we did not become homeless. God bless y'all!

In December my rent was unexpectedly raiseded $450 mo.with 9 days notice.I had to ask family members to pay the increase. Then I applied for rental assistance at United Way. I feel so lucky to have had Emily Barrett as my caseworker. She was so authentic and positive. I always left United Way feeling better about myself than when I went in. Because of her support and efficiency I am receiving the assistance I need and am very thankful.

I have been working with Monica Winters on and off over the last several months because of her care and concern she was able to get my electricity back on when I have had no money since December of 2022 not only did she get my electricity turned back on she was able to help me with rent which has kept me from being homeless! Thank you United Way of Denton county for keeping me off the streets and for having such a caring and concerned employee to help with my situation!! Holly Burk
