Five years ago, I reviewed this as, "The entire place exudes an aura of fear, apathy, and depression." I stand by it, but that isn't a very useful descriptor of why. The worst thing you can do as a young adult, aside from getting sent to prison, is joining the military. The system will promise you free college or glory or whatever it takes to get you to sign up, then chew you up until you don't recognize yourself.
