Very very bad lender! I had a very bad and completely unacceptable experience with United Community Bank as a first-time homebuyer. Two staff members actually yelled at me over the phone simply because I questioned the constant, unexpected changes in my numbers, which kept increasing without clear explanation. On the day of closing, they left me sitting at the table for the entire day with no answers because the numbers changed again and no one could explain why. I had a specific goal to achieve as far as an equity line of credit. I had dealt with at least 12 lenders of all types to see who could help me best. Everyone had their own way of assisting me according to their best outcome but not mine.
