I started with UCBI in North Georgia after my credit union left GA. I had heard they had great standards for both community and employees and were becoming a rising force within the banking industry. I have been extremely happy with ALL their services from teller service to home equity loans to CDs. And I was excited to see they had recently moved to Atlanta. What’s their names, they refused to help a customer out with their bank issues
I witnessed these two employees refuse service to a customer of color. They told the customer they believed her ID was fake, said they were going to call the police, and stated that the security cameras were recording everything. The interaction was upsetting to watch because I felt the customer was treated unfairly and without respect. Based on what I personally observed, I left with a very negative impression of the customer service at this branch.
I had an excellent experience.
