I took a flight from Tampa to Ho Chi Minh City and had a truly terrible experience. After I had completed check-in and was waiting to board, the flight was delayed by nearly three hours. Consequently, by the time I arrived in San Francisco, my connecting flight had also been delayed. If I could leave zero stars I would. This airline is absolutely the worst one to fly through. We paid extra to get on an early flight only for them to not be able to make our connection on time and have to waste the entire day at the airport and the extra money we paid for the early flight. They truly don’t care about passengers they are just dollar signs to them. Staff is incredibly rude and acts like they are entitled when they work in customer service. Today was my first time flying with United in a little while, and even though there was a delay due to weather, I am pleasantly surprised by my experience today. Starting with text notifications keeping me aware of status of delay and not only informing me of the delay but how that would effect my connecting flight.
