I am writing to share my highly disappointing experience with United Airlines (UA) at Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI). I was traveling as a chaperone for four high school students from Peoria, IL, all of whom were first-time flyers heading to a tournament. The check-in process was made extremely unpleasant by the staff member at the ticket counter. Booking with United is very deceiving. Will sell you a fare claiming no fee for carry on. Upon check in, carry on was not included, forcing an additional cost to the air fare even with supplied documentation.
